:lol: I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad one. You know, many times I think it's impossible to gauge a person's real intent or meaning by merely reading the words in his/her posts, without the benefit of seeing their body language or facial expression.

The folks on this forum agree on many things and disagree on some. Some like acoustics and some electrics, some like jumbo's and some like dreadnaughts. Some are liberal and some conservative......and others really don't care.

You mentioned that you felt like you knew me from my posts, but I'll say this. When you do have an opportunity to meet these guys in person, don't pass it up. These guys are the best bunch in this world, I'm convinced.

David Nemer was one of the most liberal thinking guys I'd personally known, and me.....well John McCain was way too liberal for me, but somehow we formed a bond, a very mutual respect based on having met and knowing we had so many things in common....wonderful families, great guitars and an appreciation for the members of this forum. My birthday, but my thoughts continue to be with David virtually every day. My gosh at how I do miss him.

I hope many more of us get a chance to meet in person one day, these guys are even better live! Your friendships mean a great deal to me.

Very true; communicating only in writing can lead to misunderstandings. But here on LTG, we can always be sure of a welcoming and tolerant reception.
