If he was still alive, this would be Leo Fender's 100th birthday. Rock on wherever you are Leo. You may a helluva contribution to guitars and musicians.

Hear hear for Leo F! I've had the pleasure of owning a host of classic Fender amps, including a Super Reverb, Twin Reverb, Deluxe Reverb, and a Music Man 210-65 from Leo's later efforts. I've also had a '64 Duo Sonic II, and a '76 Strat hardtail. Perhaps a Tele Thinline in the future?

Good on ya mate !
I'm about to begin scratch-building an EL84-powered Vibro Champ. Will be affectionally known as Leonard.
Sounds like a fun project coastie! I imagine it's made even more fun with guidance from the capn? Are you gonna go with a larger speaker than the standard 8"?
