I've managed to log in from the small country in SE Asia where I reside.

It wasn't easy though. Y'all should be honored. LTG is inaccessible from there,
as is Facebook.

So I'll be stopping in now & then now.

In my Guild news, my sunburst F65ce appears to be a special guitar.
The 2003 [edit: 2001] blue one is beautiful & sounds lovely. But there is some mysterious
thing this 1997 sunburst one has. In low to mid volume tone -- it kills my Kim Walker D60,
just slays it.

In fact, it beats anything I've ever owned or played.
I'll have an orchestral recording I'm playing it on finished pretty soon.

Best wishes, Marc! Glad you're lovin' your Guild. That's what it's all about. I guess the Westerly mystique has you covered. :)

I keep thinking the same about my D25. Given their proximity in years (mine was "born on" Halloween of '96) I wonder if they were the products of the same sets of hands, or if that was just a particularly high point of the Fender Westerly era. My F65 is absolutely a VERY late '01 and it's got great tone but does give up a bit in volume to the '25. Definitely outshines the D40 though.
BTW I think that's a typo on the age of the blue one, should be "2001", right? They didn't make any more guitars in Westerly after December of '01.

I'll have to look it up. I could be wrong. I thought Hans said it was a 2003 or 2004, very late Westerly.

Edit: I must be wrong. Because in my avatar, I wrote 2001.

Not only that but they were discontinued in '01 concurrent with Westerly's closure...
But hey, we understand how it is trying to stay current via an uncooperative internet connection! :D

Cool. So I have one of the last ones.

I had a white Python-skin strap made for it too.

So my antique-burst F-65ce has a Mekong Crocodile strap.

My blue F-65ce has a white Python strap.

And my Walker D60 has a String Ray strap.

Here they all are together.
