The very first choice blows their credibility.

I thought it was just me, but there are some genuinely awful songs in that bunch. Dust in the Wind?

I don't know what their selection criteria was but depending how they define "classic" "rock" and "acoustic" they might only have had about 75 to choose from.

Didn't we kind of rip a few holes in that list a while back, or is that this year's version?
HEY! I see "Working Class Hero" made it!
And I've loved "Blister in the Sun" ever since the first I heard it... 8)

Lists are like bellybuttons, everybody's got one...just tryin' to be nice...

I totally agree with you Coastie, I've always hated that one, what does it have, two chords in the entire song?

How could they leave Led Zeppelin's "Goin' To California" off the list? I'll stop there.

Since Elvis Presley is dubbed the King of Rock n' Roll and he played acoustic guitar when he played an instrument, one would conclude that he would make the list.

Maybe I am showing my age, but who the hell is America?

Acoustic *guitar* songs?? If so, what's "Let It Be" doing there, and "Midnight Rider"?

Like most lists, it has its good choices and bad...

They're the ones that did that two chord song at the top of the list. Honestly there's far better stuff in their catalog, even if there's not a whole lot of it.

I think about half that lsit made it due to the presence of just a few bars of acoustic "signature riffs", like "Stairway to Heaven".
And speaking of Elvis, Sandy, "That's All Right" and "Heartbreak Hotel" work exceptionally well on both my dreads.

Not really a big Elvis fan Al, but I like most of the Sun stuff, especially "That's All Right".
