Guitar synths

What's the latest on guitar synths? The Roland of about fifteen years ago is the last I know about.

axon midipickup and midiconverter:

and a laptop with sequencersoftware and a good soundcart seems to be state of the art right now. there are is also a sytem for fenter and gibson bridges to exchange the saddles and then use a converter.

some self-advertisement:
all the synth- and keyboard-sounds in this songs were done with an old roland gr-50 used as midi-converter, a musicman silhouette with an inbuilt roland gk-2b (had to sell her ) and ableton live as recording and sequencing software and the ableton operator softsynth:
