Looks like a great idea actually. I’ve got a couple vintage Guilds where the lacquer is rubbing down right there. I’ve been either wearing a long sleeve pull over when I play, and I have one snug long sleeve I cut off of an old shirt a while back I use as well. The lacquer has just about worn off of my ‘78 F40 maple where my arm rests.
