I'd be interested to hear from any of my fellow GAS-afflicteds who might consider a get together of sorts, possibly some time in October, possibly in Bellingham, Washington. Lots of possibilities!
As with any idea, this one is a typical 'trial balloon' for those of us up here in the Fourth Corner who might not be able to get to Arlington. We can dream, however.
Anyone interested and/or within striking distance? Let me hear from you and we can kick it around. Could be the start of something GASsy!

I might be interested too depending on the dates and other obligations, so let's keep in touch on this. As much as I would like to, I know I won't be going to Arlington. When I first joined the forum I read about Arlington and thought it was the one in Washington :lol:

I'll be posting some info on other NW events soon, but I'll start new threads for those.

I've never been to Arlington, but I've been to Bellingham

'bout the same distance from me.

We have good friends who live on Whidbey Island, about a mile south of Deception Pass. (And I was stationed at Oak Harbor Naval Air Station in '73-74-75.) Might be a good excuse for a return trip :wink: My picture probably isn't hanging in the Post Office any more :lol:

I have an acre of flat grassy,partially fenced land...water,power,septic...great for camping,primitive RV setting...1/2 mile from the ocean,right here in Westport,Washington.

I know Ashcroft and it wouldn't take much "enticing" to get me there, John. I recall starting the thread with Bellingham in mind, but I'm flexible.

We would love to visit the NW so I wish you folks all the best in pulling something off for a start. The fall is our favourite time to travel as well so while we be in the Lone Star State this October we could be thinking and planning on crashing your party in the future.

If Texas, or Ohio are any indication what so ever of the quality of people on the forum, and I have no indication otherwise, one get together leads to many more. :mrgreen:
