Before I tread into the wasteland that is Craiglist and Ebay, I thought I should mention here that I'm going to be selling my late 90s Westerly DV4 (the all solid wood version of the D4, for those who don't know). In short I have four six string acoustics and I can no longer comfortably live without a 12 string.
If anyone is at all interested, please let me know and I'll start posting some pictures.
A couple of things to note:
1. It has a crack on along the fingerboard on the treble side. Having examined the guitar, my exceptional luthier told me to leave it alone: "The neck is exactly where it wants to be, and there is already a brace in as reinforcement.
2. Other than the above issue it's in decent shape with reasonable wear for a hand-rubbed finish guitar that's nearly 20 years old.
3. It sounds fantastic. It's a wonderful sounding mahogany dread. I'm just not that into dreads anymore, and I already have an F44 mini-jumbo.
4. There's no case, but I do have a gig bag.
Thanks,
Chris
