In the current USA lineup are the Traditional series the only ones with dovetail neck joints? Apologies if this has been covered.

I think the website answered this question. They make a point to mention the dovetail on the traditional line so I guess I can assume the rest are mortise and tenon bolt on.

They continue to obfuscate the details of the neck joint on the website, GaH. I don't know why they're doing this. They've been clear about the finishes they've been using, but they don't seem to want clarity with the joint... In the description of the D-55, they mention the dovetail joint, but unless I missed something not in the description of the F-55 (or 12-string versions). I can't assume one way or the other, but I guess those have dovetails too. I don't see much about "Traditional" here on the site either, so I can't make that distinction for you.

Anyway, good luck. We have discussed this before, as you suggested, but it's an annoying topic as mostly what we have is hearsay (as I recall). I'm pretty sure the neck joints of the first guitars (M-20, D-20) were mortise and tenon joints, but I'm not sure about any of that.

The makers that use bolt on don't go out of their way to tell you. Such is the mystique of the dovetail. One can also assume the words solid mahogany pretty much mean one of the African variants. If it's a dovetail and Honduran mahogany, you can be sure they let you know it. All this is moot if you go out and play the guitars. If you play them side by side, you can decide for yourself if more money is worth it. Otherwise, you are buying marketing lingo and forum advise.

I actually think I prefer a bolt on neck. I doubt I could tell any sound difference and if either of the US Guilds I’m considering became a “lifer” for me, the relative ease of a neck reset if needed is appealing.

For the record, I don't know for certain if the mortise and tenon joint that Oxnard uses is a bolt-on or not... Again, they've made the details hard to come by.
