Greetings all!
At long last I can finally replace my old 1977 D-35 that I had to part with many years ago.
Now I'm waiting on my new D-40 to arrive; very excited of course.
I see this new product has open tuners. I'm sure they're nice, but I have found they collect dust, bits of thread etc and for me they just don't look as nice as closed tuners.
So, I've looked online at the Guild website and I don't see closed-back tuners.
Does anyone have suggestions for replacing the tuners with closed-back tuners? They have to be accurate and worthy of putting on a $1700 guitar. Naturally I'd love Guild tuners with the "G" logo, but we can't have everything!
Thanks for your help,
Steve B
