Went to a very small club tonight to see Jefferson Starship, or at least Paul Kantner and some other guys, along with a fantastic girl singer named Cathy Richardson, who we know a little bit. Kantner played nothing but full bling Guild 12 strings. He had 4 of them lined up, along with a tech who had to tell him which key was which.
Show was opened by a older guy named Jack Traylor, who was terrific. He apologized in advance because he'd misplaced his guitar somewhere today, and was playing a borrowed one. He proceeded to pick up a very nice D-25, which appeared to be Guss's twin brother and play the crap out of it.
Great evening just 5 blocks from home.
