Guild sighting - Paul Simon

I was watching a 1975 Saturday Night Live (back when SNL was funny!) and spotted this beautiful Guild. I'm not too up on the accoustics, so i don't know the model.

He's playing the first one of two F-30 Specials that Guild made for him during the second half of the '60s.

Slight veer but to go back to another thread, notice the smooth chord changes he makes playing G with his 2-3-4 fingers. 1 and 4 dropping in every now and then for added notes, etc.

He's pretty good and I think he'll go far. 8)

^^^ Funny, I've heard that passage many times over the years, but seeing them sing it there, sure brought it home. I'm glad you highlighted those lines. Certainly something to be said about seeing a song performed that gives it another level of meaning, understanding, and importance.
