James Wolpert played a Guild with a sunburst top tonight on The Voice and was absolutely brilliant.

Honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the vocals at the very beginning, but the guitar sounded fantastic, and by the middle of the tune he did as well.

Back to the thread, my first thought was "Boy, that sounds just like my D55..." Rather spot on. Just a nice balanced acoustic guitar sound...

So, I'm the original Joni fan and I'm gonna be the first to be SUPER critical of that one but.... it was GOOD. VERY GOOD. Beautiful Joni song, beautiful Guild guitar.... and a really great job on that song. Thumbs up.....
