That's about what I thought, but I don't trust my eyes or monitor to commit to an ID with no better lighting than that.
I thought it was interesting that instead of the Tele playing the lead, it was the Guild, especially with Clarence being a Telemaster legend.

Starfire II or T100-D? I thought the Starfires had humbuckers in the 60's-70's and the T100-D had the single coils.

I stand corrected, should have consulted Hans' book before commenting. Page 62 2nd paragraph on the left side implies this guitar was one of a limited number of 1961 Starfires with the DeArmond pickup used by Gretsch prior to 1958. See 2:12 of the video for a good look at the pickups.

Does the red finish also indicate this was a Starfire rather than a T-100D? That's the way I read it in "the book."

About that video chock full of red Guilds...

Hi - I'm the lefty player in that video - Thanks for noticing!
My main guitar is a '62 Starfire 2. The Bass is a '66 or '67. And while I love and adore my Strarfire, the only reason I'm playing my Guild on a Clarence White tribute rather than my Tele is strictly because the other guitar player is a Tele guy through and through! (It's a conscious decision to give a tonal separation. He's playing a Vox and I'm playing a Deluxe for similar reasons!)

Hi - It's a Starfire 2 - The earlier models had single coil DeArmonds (aka Dynasonics). The T-100s have a different single coil. (It might also be made by DeArmond, but with a different setup than the oddball 'screw pushes the lever below to raise the polepiece' assembly. They are screwily built pickups, but sound great!
