Nice! I now better understand an often misunderstood guitar. :) The series-parallel switch is, well, a switch from the expected splitter switch. G&L used them in the 1980s and brought them back recently (I usually just park them in series mode).

The series-parallel switch is, well, a switch from the expected splitter switch.

That is how the DiMarzio insert for the DualSound recommended switching, back in the day.

Another great review!

I loved the sound of the S-60 I had - bought from GAD, in fact - but could not bond with the neck. And yes, the tuners sucked.

Another excellent and entertaining review. Very interesting about the pickup wiring.
