Would need to be shipped to California, prefer to not pay a king's ransom, player grade is fine/cosmetics are not important as long as it's structurally sound and doesn't smell weird. No cigarette smoke, no heavy air freshener or dryer sheet smell, please. Original case is a nice to have; not required as long as it's packed well for shipping. I'm planning to play the heck out of it, so not looking for a pristine collector's item. PM with your thoughts. I've been scouring eBay and Reverb, so no need to send me links to those items. I'd prefer something that has an inspection period and return option, unless the price is low enough that it's an amount I can afford to lose. I'd pay the shipping both ways, of course. Thank you. :)

I can pick up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Would also consider a Mark III, but prefer a II or a I. Thank you!

I have a ‘69 Mark II that I’ve had for thirty years…absolutely great tone. All original except for the tuners, and the originals are around somewhere. I think it’s a cedar top. It has been the aroun the house nylon for decades and over time I’ve tried a Webber, a Taylor, and a Mark IV to try and replace it. Got rid of them all. This year however I rebuilt a ‘64 Brazilian Mark V and that did the trick. So, I guess the Mark II is up for sale. Choice of a molded or older basic hard shell case. $800 plus shipping from La Quinta. Lots of photos but they’re on my PC

I have about 40 photos of it, so if you need more. Also, when I got it the neck had some chips in the finish so I used a Formby's product to break it down and lighten it, so I guess it's still the original finish, just lighter.

If you're not looking for a prestine guitar you may want to check with GC online, access to their nationwide stores. They usually have one or two for sale. Ask for additional photos but if you find an acceptable one the price is usually good.

I am by no means a fan of GC but the fact is if you are careful and a bit knowledgeable you can find a good deal.

Just my two cents

Excellent suggestion, Hearth. I'm on it! :)

The best thing about GC is that you can return it for a full refund if it shows up at your local store and it's junk.
