Oh man, I was so trying to score that one but it was already marked as "ON HOLD" when I saw it.

Fast trigger!

And nice score!!!

While technically you could call this a Guild M-90, it is listed in my database as a model M-70. During the time that this guitar was made, the M-90 didn't yet exist. This guitar was made as a sample for the NAMM show, to see if there would be any interest in an M-70 type guitar with P-90 pickups instead of the usual DeArmond pickups. When eventually production was started it was decided that this version of the M-70 would be called the M-90 ( for the P-90 pickups). The color was listed as Catalina Blue and the guitar was completed July 15, 1999.

I thought you might find this interesting to know!

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

I was gonna say, it reminds me of my ex (now Kent's) M70 except for the pups.... so I guess they were both at the same NAMM show sometimes in 2001 or 2002.....
Thanks for the precision Hans.

Hello bluespicky,

Actually, that blue guitar was made for Summer NAMM 1999 in Nashville and I believe that would be a little earlier model than the one you used to own.
I may have seen the one that you had though, during one of my visits to the Custom Shop.

Sincerely,
