I have an F47RCE here that is missing a Fishman Prefix blender control panel, pickup and jack. I see on the control panel that is supposed to be here on this guitar that it has a blend between mic and pickup. How does that work? Does it have a separate internal mic? (I’m guessing it does…) does it sound good?

secondly, does anyone have a system they be willing to part with?

Are you looking for the complete system? If yes, get in touch with me through my website and I may be able to help you out.

Yeah I've got that on my F65ce with a slightly different layout. Yes, internal soundhole mic mounted is on the preamp, and a UST in the usual location. ( :D )

does it sound good?
Best thing you could get in the era, my humble opinion.
Guild and Fishman worked very closely together, Guild didn't just solicit bids from a variety of sources to get a best price system to slap into their guitars.
So their Fishman systems were optimized for their particular builds and sound.

Even by today's standards, the Prefix blend is a good system. Even the older Prefix, without the blend is decent, as far as under saddle pickups go. As Han's alluded to, Fishman has always made great stuff, and for years Guild was using in all of their acoustic-electric models.

Another FYI, if you have Fishman questions, their support staff is responsive, informative, and helpful. I've had great experiences with them over the years.

I have a Fishman "Belt Pack" system I would be willing to sell. Same as the onboard system but in a small box that attaches to your belt.

Does anyone have the exact location of where to solder the under saddle pickup wires to the Fishman Blender preamp? I can’t find it anywhere on the Fishman site, only how to solder the output jack.

Email Fishman, they'll likely get back to you within a day. Attach a couple of photos. Their support people seem to enjoy stuff.
