Do you mean $1200 Joe?
No, I meant 1,500.

John, score for you! What a great story and you should be excited, that F30 is sooooooo nice. Treem doesn't mess around with second rate gits, that's for sure.

Maybe he should be a guitar photographer in his next life too! He's done a great job on the pictures I've seen of his guitars.

Inspirational and par for the course around here. Another great LTG family memory. Awwww. :D

Guitar photography is apparently his forte and the overall presentation that he delivers consistently tells me that no one will ever threaten his rule as Treem the Enabler.

I hope that one day the stars line up to connect me to this talented LTGer.

LTG,

I am very happy, honored and blessed to know that, this tiny beauty is going to our own SouthernGuild! Just knowing that John is visiting his Mom and will be playing this F30 for her.....is priceless! And I am very touched.......so I pray for healing and comfort and travelling mercies for John and his family.

And for the rest of the LTG Family, thank you all for the great connections here, from the heart! And remember to weep with those who weep, and rejoice with those who rejoice.

Blessings,

Tristan

TREEM and SG!!!!! YOOHOOO.....
I thought long and hard about that one (quiet Steffan  ) and man, I must say it's a relief to know it's going to you SG. I have a feeling that baby sings like there's no tomorrow, and can't wait to hear about the reunion in New Orleans!!!!
No Guild lost here!! Just an LTG transfer of ownership, congrats to both!!! :D

Re: Guild F30R Sunburst Acoustic Guitar 1998 - (SOLD!)

Dearest SG, please forgive me for forgetting to include this..

Very nice looking guitar. I'm thinking about it.......hmmmn.

There is a side of the fingerboard/soundhole crack showing in one picture.

Interestingly, there is some finish separation/shrinkage on the forward edge of the pickguard and the bass-side fingerboard edge, over the top.

Normally, I would say that the finish shrinkage is just that, shrinkage, but the crack makes me wonder if there is anything else loose on the inside, like the 'neck-block underside-of-the-top glue-join. I've seen that happen with Guilds (12 stringers) before, where the forward soundhole crack was the only visible sign of other issues.
It's not that it's not repairable, but if you buy the guitar close to full value, you may want to factor the the cost of repair, as well as a small drop in value into your final offer.

Why doesn't somebody email the seller about the crack and see if he had it checked out and knows 'one way or the other' if anything else is loose?

..a full refund is completed.

I just took these pictures...if anybody is interested.

btw, that is the E string's reflection off the top.

edit=Notice the pickguard is above the top of the F30r   8) kidding!

Busy day here, not much computer time, But just had to jump in.
That guitar IS a beauty, I KNOW 'cause I have looked long and hard at the photos Tristan has sent me of her. An Ebony and sunburst Guilded dream. She was 'almost' mine. I regret to say that 'yes folks , she's back on the market'. The reasons are more of my own, and my location, than about the guitar at all. That IS one beauty of a F30!!!
Tristan, YOU have been absolutely WONDERFUL, and honest , understanding and supportive every step of the way with this one. I sincerely Thank you.
Who ever is getting this one , will be getting a fine guitar from one heck of a good man. and Guitar picker too! No wonder you are so well regarded here.
Thanks Mate!!! :D

Sounds like both parties worked it out. Now which one of us who said they REALLY wanted this beauty , really wants it. Gotta go now and search under the couch for some spare change  It all adds up you know.
