***SOLD***
Guild F30 1998 Westerly

Guild F30 made in Westerly RI, possibly a '97 or a little later, based on
published Guild serial pdf, $750.
Various minor dings, dents, scratches, scuffs, chips, small areas of finish checking,
swirl marks on pickguard, some picking marks on body, very slight bridge lift,
good to very good cosmetic condition overall.
Over 40 high-res photos in the link below, can take additional
detail photos if needed.

Low action, low saddle, 24" straight edge lands +/- 3/64" below the top of the bridge.
Plays easily, sounds good, although there is a slight buzz
on the low E string. Local pickup in St. Louis MO area preferred,
estimated US domestic ground shipping $75.

Thanks walrus - trying to put up as much photo documentation as I'd
want to see in a better guitar-buying-and-selling world - as if!

Yes, great photos, and a great looking guitar!

It's not that people don't make the effort to take good photos (well, yes, many don't!) as they simply can't. It looks like you've practically got a regular photo studio at your disposal -- neutral background, great lighting, a camera capable of taking sharp images, etc.

What's your set-up like?

What, and reveal my guitar-imaging secrets, to the whole world!?
NEVER!!!

Oh... ok. Don't laugh!
Camera is a several-years-old Canon EOS Rebel T5i, standard lens.
I'll hang paper on the sides of the setup if needed - either white or gray - otherwise I
hand-hold a large piece of cardboard to diffuse light or diminish glare.
Thus far I've found maple / light-colored woods are easier to photograph than dark woods.

Nice!

Me, I'd have a hard time finding that much empty space in my house -- it's all clogged up with guitars.

I'd have to sell a bunch of guitars in order to make enough room to take photos of the guitars I want to sell.

Based on your description I was very surprised to see such a good looking guitar....Great deal. If I didn't already have one!

Great photos! Great price! That action is indeed low. The saddle would not be higher if the action is raised to “normal” .80-.90 height, leaving room to adjust lower down the road. Neck angle is not optimal but not bad. This is a good deal.

Ha! Well - that area in the photo is still being remodeled - and I'm still dealing with the
trauma of pre-remodel excavation of stuff - and that's the only reason there's clear wall space :biggrin-new:

Thanks for the comments, gentlemen.

Sale pending.
