Guild F20 pick up recommendadtions

I have a '71 F-20 with a Barcus-Berry stick-on and a McIntyre acoustic feather pickup both mounted near the bridgeplate, they share one jack and the sound is very canned and not distinct when plugged in. I do run a pre-amp before the mixer. Acoustically, this one really projects and is my very favorite to play/sing along with. My Gibson (Sheryl Crow model) just sounds "right" straight through the p.a. with no outside effects needed. Any recommendadints what would sound this good for the guild? Cheers, Sean

I put a K&K pure Western Mini on my 83 f-20 and it sounds great!

make sure you get a professional installation- where you place the pickups makes a difference

I do not like undersaddle pickups since they make an impact on the acoustic sound of the guitar- BUT they are good if you want to play at high volume w/o fedback
