According to Dan Cipriano / scroll down to F-30 and assuming the second character is an "I" and not a "2", it's a 1969 but none of the web-sources for Guild year/SN data are as reliable as Hans' data. ... maybe ... maybe not. CJ
Thanks Capn, That's part of what has me confused. This chart shows the last # F-30 in 1969 as A1-2554, if the serial # was AG-2771 it would be an F-20 made in 1968 but the label clearly said F-30. Maybe what looked like a 2 or a - was a G? ...oh well, I'll be back over that way in a week or two and will check it out more closely. (I'm relatively sure it will still be there, the price seems a bit high to me given the appearance but like I said, it sounds great.)

It'd be great if you could get even a phone pic; if for no other reason, would allow Hans to scope it, ID it, and maybe add it to his database ... Don't know about your area but, down here, the consignee usually gets in the 30% range for their trouble which would put the seller's net in the $450 range; maybe a little closer to its actual value. Wonder if the owner ever CL'd it? More speculation but, if they had, they'd probably have done better than going the consignment route. J
