The tortoise shell binding and heel cap, and the bone nut, bridge and pins, are real bonuses and the burst can't be beat. The adirondack red spruce top is what really sets this concert-sized guitar apart with literally surprising volume. It will be amazing when it is broken in. It has been rarely played.

Great price and great looking. I'd bite if I had bit just bought a NH F-30. You are right about the Red Spruce.

Dave
Would you say the sound of the F30 is more 'jangly' or 'woody'?
And how's the volume/projection?
Thanks
Geoff

Geoff: It is more jangly than woody in the sense that an adirondack top will generally be more jangly than woody, compared to sitka. It has such large volume and projection for its size that I tend not to perceive it as woody, but it does have a certain woody complexity with mahogany articulation. It does tend to break up when driven very hard, and the tone does have a certain hard edge about it, which like most adi tops should mellow very, very nicely with some playing time.

I am in danger of slipping into wine tasting prose: "The sound of this guitar is provocative, flamboyant, jaunty and blooming." Ha.

I'd like to see a few more pics.
Just kidding, of course. Your photo spread leaves nothing to chance and the guitar is dazzling, to say the least. Would that I could....

Best of luck with the sale,
Joe
