Rich, you are one of the most considerate guys on the planet. I can't imagine someone hating you. Anyone who "hates" you is simply a hateful person, as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, there's too much hate goin' around these days. I began writing a song while living as a Peace Corps volunteer in an Indian village back in 1970. Since playing at open mics here in Charlottesville, I've extended the song. Each time there's a mass shooting, I add another verse to the song. It's called "Loop of Hate." Unfortunately, the song has grown and grown.

It's about time to end that song, Rich.

Ralph, you're right, and essentially I have. It's crazy, but with no access to open mics, I'm not writing songs like I used to. The questions arises, do professional song writers compose because they will be possibly rewarded for their efforts? It appears to not be an altruistic activity of the mind.

Seems like you would be writing more songs these days, however, it's what you "can't say" these days which makes songwriting more difficult. There is surely more to sing about but mum the word.
