Guild D25, Serial # CPM000334, early 2000's, built in Corona, California,
finished in satin Crimson Transparent Red.

Excellent example of a somewhat less common version of D25, with
mahogany top, sides, back and neck, and a flat braced back
instead of an arched back. Rosewood fretboard and bridge.

Very good condition, some minor dings, chips and scuffs,
strum marks on pickguard and body.
Great playing action and neck angle, tall saddle.
Passive pickup installed, not sure of brand, works well.
Includes TKL hard-shell case.

$975 + UPS / Fedex ground shipping @ cost to lower 48.
PM for link to over 60 hi-res photos.

Couple of preliminary photos - catalog page is from GAD's website.

That is one sweet looking D25; I did not know that Corona made a 'hog top D25.
Dread, I've owned 5 of them - all great guitars imo. Have had early Westerly Guild D25s as well, for me the
Coronas were more compelling - nuts a little wider and more comfortable, necks slick and fast, more responsive
dynamic range, and they seemed noticeably louder as well, which I like.

I had somewhat of an obsession for some time about attempting to recreate that ad from the Guild catalog, but
finally gave up - could never land a Sapphire Blue example - found only a couple for sale over several years time, failed to close a deal.
The Seafoam Green finish seems very rare as well, but ime has appeared for sale more often than the Blue.
Not seen in the ad, but I've seen exactly two of the Brown Sunburst ones for sale, tried and failed to get those as well.

I'm keeping one, a Honey Blonde. Very, very tough choice between it and the Red one, but the Red models seem to
show up somewhat more often than the other colors. Whatever the color I don't believe there's many of them around.
The only criticism I have about these is the satin finish is just a bit dull - would have preferred a high gloss.
