Most people on this forum are far more knowledgeable than me about Guild models, but going by "the book", i.e. Hans' excellent work of reference, there was no bejeweled dread other than the D-55, at least until '77. I find it strange that they never made a "D-45" - or would that be a "D-44"?
When did Guild introduce the D-17? Does it have an arched back, and did Guild make a guitar like that (white binding etc.) with a spruce top? (Or would that be the D-25, minus the white binding?)
