Just thought I would pass along that Guild does not currently take any special custom orders on their guitars. I was interested in a customized D-55 and my dealer called Guild yesterday. They informed him that at this time they do not take any custom orders beyond the normal production designs. :(

Too bad. I hope this will be available in the future. Interesting considering Fender has a big custom division.

Bet they would take your custom order if your last name was Townsend, Reznick, Etheridge, Dimeola, or Clapton though!!!

Or Willie Porter, local GAS budget might take a serious lick if one of these comes up on Ebay for reasonable.

Jeff,

You are right! This is Willie's new signature model, and it is beautiful...and is now Guild's most expensive git. It sounds magnificent as well and can be seen in action by Willie at the summer NAMM performances on YouTube.

As with all models, sooner or later one will come on eBay for a ridiculously low price, to our delight. Have PayPal ready!

That is one sweet looking axe! If one ever shows up on the bay it would probably have to be in 3 pieces to fit in my budget though!

Blues,

FYI - There is a one on eBay for $1,550.00 BIN. Says it's new in box, but since it does not look like an authorized Guild dealer, my assumption is there would be no warranty.

Aigorman is correct. I corresponded with the seller, no factory warranty.

I find it interesting the guitar wasn't snapped up on the BIN, matter of fact, last time I checked the listing, no bids period.
