I think why not? It’s a new model that borrowed from old Guild designs. Why not a original motif to bring a separate identity for this particular guitar? I wished they’d have called it the Jetfire

I'm all for new imagery on a new model, and see the continuity in a pickguard image from older models.

I get stuck on two parts of all of this:
1-What IS it? It's not clearly a star, a V, or a crown. And I'll admit I hadn't seen it as a US flag either. It's interesting that it's just so mysterious what it actually is.
2- Why is it presented as it's own logo? I know there is some precident for a model-logo with the T-Bird, but my fuzzy memory is that the Guild branding was still primary back then.

Thought at first it was an Indian motorcycle. Kinda sorta similar to that, but no.
Also, not a big fan

I guess I'm the only one that sees stars and stripes as being emblematic of a certain nation.
I had the same inital thought but no, you can't mirror a flag of a country. And definitely not an Indian head...There are stars not a head. So walrus theory stays it is a "star fire".

It's the only thing that makes sense. Of course, I still don't like it!

I was wondering if that maybe is a BSA Starfire model in the Guild picture.

But after zooming in I see it is a Triumph bike:

The printing leaves a lot to desire. I like the top of the logo though.
Just needs to use a better font for the letters.

Just noticed there is an axe in this dude’s living room and I don't mean the Guild. An actual axe! Kinda random.....

It is leaning to fireplace. Judging by other decoration accessories - Like Triumph - he/she maybe hauls in huge logs and chops them on site.

But then - ife resident is a "he" - his name might be Eugene - careful now.
