Guild Bluesbird General Question

Hi,

Just wondering how the new imports stack up with the originals -(or by those, to me, anyway... I am referring to the models made in the '90s). If there's a difference, as I've noticed in the ads/descriptions, I think or believe they say they are somewhat based off those in the '60s. With some (more) modern refinements... Basically, what I'm wondering is if it would be a fair (or "unfair,") assessment as to whether or not the quality might be in alignment with those of the acoustic imported line - roughly. . .

Thanks, and if this or other simliar inquiries can be ascertained, or answered in the threads below, or that follow, then you don't have to waste your time with a seemingly "redundant," reply. As I have not yet gone over them. I was looking at a couple of them online, and by description of specs alone; they seemed 'tempting!'

The '90s Bluesbirds and the Newark St. Bluesbirds are very different guitars.

I had been playing a Heritage H-150, until recently. Which, as I understand it... is somewhat (or pretty) similar to a standard Les Paul.
