Guild acoustics now feature D'Addario strings.

In case you haven't noticed Guilds don't come with strings of their own brand anymore, in favour of the D'Addario Strings. Some models have the nylon stocking type EXP string, like it or not.

You are right on. My 2006 CV-1 came with D'Addario EXP and I have to admit it sounds fabulous. I have been a Guild L-350 man for many years but I may have to make a permanent switch. The new types of extended play strings do last longer with better intonation.
