Sold Guild 1984 FS46-12CE Natural (24-3/4" scale)

This 12 string guitar is from Guild's early 80's Crossroads series of routed chambered solid body electro acoustic guitars It has a one piece mahogany body with spruce top and one piece mahogany neck with individual Grover tuners. Unique to Guild 12 strings this guitar has a 24-3/4" scale! It has an under saddle pickup system with original Fishman EQ1 preamp board. The preamp board has been modified to run from a 4x AAA (6v) battery supply instead of the original 2x AA (3v) supply.

It is all original except for preamp mod mentioned above. It comes with a period Guild HSC. The guitar is in good shape with a few small scratches and chips. (I am not one to hype the condition of any guitar I sell. I will understate it's condition if anything. That is a pet peeve I have with sellers in general.)

When you say the preamp has been modded - is it just a 4xAA holder or have the electronics also been altered?

The board has had the bias resistor values changed, the input resistor value was changed and the input capacitor was removed. No holes were drilled so the the original value components can be installed. I may have an original unmodified board I can swap this one with.
