Probably a question for
@SFIV1967, but does anyone know when the Grand Reward serial number label changed from rectangular with "Cordoba" to round with "Guild" on the Westerly Collection guitars? From these two examples it was between 2018 and 2021.
We are talking neck block labels here. And we still have no 100% confirmation that G2 and G3 are also GREE.
The first one is not a Guild guitar but a Cordoba guitar. A Guild guitar never had a Cordoba label. (unless an error happened). EDIT: Well it looks like an error here...But it doesn't matter as also the Guild labels were rectangular for G1 and G2 models. (where the factory (?) code is 1, the factory code 3 always had round labels)
It's a maximum confusing topic...and only somebody from CMG could shine light on it. So far all info is just from looking at guitars which had by chance the factory inspecion label still attached. And they were all G1's from GREE. I have not seen such factory inspecion label on G2 or G3 S/N guitars yet. Would be interesting if any of the LTG members have one with their guitar.
