I love it when songs get redone in a vastly different style or with a wildly different interpretation by different artists.

This one was in my mind this week- In Bloom by Nirvana covered by Sturgill Simpson. Same song, but totally different songs.

The original:

Sturgill Simpson version:

What vastly different song redos/covers do you all enjoy?

This was one of my earliest memories of this phenomena: You Keep Me Hangin' On by the Supremes, redone by Vanilla Fudge. Hearing the Fudge do this really set my mind off in a different understanding of music and what was possible.

Same song, but totally different songs:

Supremes

Vanilla Fudge
