I always presumed this was true, but now I have evidence to present to my wife, explaining why I'm always in my basement studio playing and singing.

"...it has been found that people over 65 who still play music have a better executive function. Current and former musicians were also found to perform better on language, attention and processing speed tests compared to people who have never played music."
