I guess that means a price increase. Gotta pay for that expansion somehow.

At least one responder on AGF wondered if it may be based on the pandemic bump in sales and won't be sustainable when things return to more normalcy.

And I hope it means they are bringing the WM-45 back into production!

Good to hear good news about Gibson. My Ren-designed Songwriter came out of that plant. I always liked the idea of a guitar plant in Bozeman, Montana for some reason, lol. I'm actually living in Montana right now (not real close to Bozeman, though) while our Idaho place is undergoing a remodel. We just had two huge moving trucks move all our stuff out of one state into two other states. In the winter. It's been crazy to say the least.

Great news - I currently have six acoustics that came out of the Bozeman plant, and have owned many more over the years. They just seem to consistently deliver what I’m after, both in tone & playability - especially with the variety of short-scale instruments offered. Keep ‘em coming!

I’ve owned two WM-45s, and as good as they were, I ran into other J-45ish models that ended up replacing them. Gibson has been incredibly prolific with their use of the J-45 platform, to the point that any conceivable tone you might be after is most likely out there - you just have to get lucky & find it!
