Hang tough Dread. At least you have family there to look after you and it sounds like they are good family too.

Yea dreadnut, get well soon. Hey if your in a cast, you can sit on the couch and play your guitars ALL day, without feeling guilty about skipping chores. I broke my ankle in 1985, at an outdoor concert in Va Beach where I lived. A popular MTV pop band named the “Hooters”. Of course my mind was less than “smart” at the time, and I saw a dude do a back flip, so I followed up with one. However, I knew nothing about back flips, just thought it was cool at the time. It sounded like a shotgun when it broke. So I’m pretty close to the stage, laying on the ground people gathering, and I could hear the ambulance coming in the distance. True story; they stopped everything and split the massive crowed in the field, for the ambulance. 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital.
I broke a piece of bone on the inside ankle an fractured the outside. Screwed the piece on the inside, but let the fracture heal on its own. Seems like I was in a cast for 3-4 weeks, inside break healed fairly quickly. But the fracture was quite slow getting going, hurting way more than the break. Even today, inside no problems ever. Outside where the fracture was still bothers me. Get well friend!
