One of my all-time Coryell faves: "General Mojo's Well-Laid Plan." Written by bassist Steve Swallow. From the original studio take here: http://www.allmusic.com/album/duster-r136142
THANK YOU Steffan!
Sometimes I'm surprised at how few people check out these nuggets....pure gold really....I like expanding my interests.....and it really is a privilege to be able to see these greats in action....Steffan
Not specifically in reference to this but the primary reason I don't check out a lot of these "nuggets" is because the person posting the link doesn't bother to give me enough information for me to know whether it is worth my time, or not. In a perfect world where everything was organized according to my scheme, a link to a video would mention whether there is Guild content or not. If there is then mentioning the models or asking for help identifying them is a good way to get people engaged. The performer(s), name(s) of the song(s), whether it is a live performance and whether the video is of the performance are all useful things I would use bto make my decision to to click.
LTG is pretty well policed and so there are almost no malware or spam links but if you're paranoid you still try and figure out where you are going before you click. I'm more likely to spend the time to do that if I know why someone posted a link.
Some of my comments apply to links in general but I don't advocate telegraphing the punchline if a link is included for the humorous intent.
I listen to most of the music people put up here, their own or others. I usually go through the threads a few times a week and open a bunch of tabs and go through them, most often while doing something else. So much music, so little time... More often than not the thread is stale by the time I get to it so I don't comment.
Been a fan of Larry and Gary forever, 5 stars, indeed. 8)
