It's certainly a personal choice and you're the one to make it.ptc said:I realize they are dissimilar guitars, but would I be smart to trade my masterbilt for the GAD, assuming I like the GAD?
For starters, the sound far surpassed that of the GAD, both highs and lows; it was more responsive with easier fingering; and the overall feel of the guitar in my hands and on my lap told me that I had stumbled onto a special guitar. I know that these are tough qualities to understand unless you have the two side by side, which I did. It was a pretty exhaustive comparison ---ask my wife how exhausted SHE was--- and I really wanted to prefer the GAD, given that I'm Guilded, but I couldn't do it.ptc said:Thanks for the response. I do like the EF500. I think I want to try a mahogany guitar eventually, which is another draw to the guild. But not sure about the body size/style.
Could you be more specific about what you mean when you say the masterbilt outperformed the guild?
