GAD 30R

I was wondering what strings people have been using on thier Guild GAD 30R. Any input would be very much appreciated!

Welcome dgeorge, strings have been talked about before and I think the majority used light 12-53 for most Guilds period. Some use mediums and a few mix them up for fine tuning or because they lost some. :shock:

I like it very much for finger picking but not as much for strumming. I have been using Elixir PB lights as well as the Guild PB.

I've got the GAD-30 mahogany. I use it for fingerpicking/fingerstyle, and love it. Beautiful, ethereal, chiming balance would best describe it. An amazing OM for the money.

Hi,

I am a new guy here.

I have a GAD-30R and settled on Elixir Phosphor bronze Nanoweb Light strings. They sound good, feel good for fingerpicking and stand up to flatpicking.
