Writer/s have apparently never received uncountable bummers, DOA pedals, broken amps, etc.

Someone needs to write about that "kicked in the stomach" feeling that happens when you open a case and there's a headstock/neck joint crack, or you see what was supposed to be a near mint guitar that now has a "relic" treatment thanks to the vibrato arm that escaped the accessory pocket during shipment. Those stories may just temper the G.A.S. a bit.
