Greetings
I have a 1976 Guild Artist Award that I literally, lucked into. You can see the thread here:
http://letstalkguild.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=9695

Anyway, its way more guitar than I really need for my style of play (mostly leading worship at the base chapel). So I am thinking about letting her go.

The guitar has had some work done on her by Staufer Guitars in Munich
http://www.staufer-guitars.de/
She needed a neck reset, refret, and some neck binding work, but she is back on her feet and a really nice player.
No, she isn't mint, so if you are looking for a beauty queen to sit in glass case, this isn't the one.
But if you want one to take out on the town with you and actually play regularly, she is the one.

What am I looking for? Great question. I am on the hunt for a 600SPEC Taylor, but am open to realistic ideas.

Trade Value $4k
Cash $3600

Blessings

Re: FT (Feeler) 1976 Artist Award

I would say $4K is pretty good considering it has been pretty much restored, although if it were mine I'd probably ask $4K and settle for $3.5 K. It's almost a clone of mine, and mine has excellent sound and feel to the neck. The DeArmond 1100 is also a plus for a selling point, they regularly go by themselves for upwards of $1K.
Good luck,
Brad
