I've owned/played a few different '80s-'90s PRSs over the years; this is hands-down the best I've ever touched and that's the reason it's the one I still own. There's a reason Paul himself likes the mahogany ones the best, but, beyond that, this thing feels fantastic to play. I have no idea whether this fretboard is Brazilian, but it's the best feeling piece of rosewood I've ever encountered -- it's shiny and slick in an ebony sort of way. It's also one of those guitars you can tell is a monster w/o plugging it in. If you're into PRSs, you will love this guitar.

Aside from feel and sound, this is also extremely clean. It's been played a fair amount, but there's basically no swirl marks, belt buckle shenanigans, dents/dings/scratches, with the exception of a side-marker-sized ding in the side of the neck around the 12th fret and an internal crack in one of the knobs (both pictured).

I'm asking $2500, shipped on this one.

(^That's not freshly oiled, BTW -- that's how it always looks!)

So, I mentioned trades... Money is the prime motivator in this sale, however, if I can still clear around $1k or so, I'd be willing to listen to trade proposals. If we're talking Guilds in return, I'd consider almost any electric, Newark Street stuff included. Guilds aside, I'd be interested in a Les Paul Traditional or a big-necked Standard or a Heritage/Tokai/Greco/Burny/etc. I like "vintage-style" guitars and am also sort of half-assedly looking for a Champ-sized tube combo.
