Back on the market... $1500 + shipping for CONUS.

This guitar is in excellent condition. Everything sounds great and plays wonderfully. The neck and frets are in good shape. Cosmetically, it looks awesome for such an old instrument. There are a few small blemishes and a little wear here and there but nothing major. The binding is in really good shape too.

The only thing worth mentioning is that the end of the Bigsby was coming loose, so I took it to a local tech for repair. He installed dowels in the holes and re-drilled. The bottom screw was replaced by one that is a bit longer but the same diameter - therefore making for a better fit. Also, I doubt the frets are original. However, they are relatively thin, very comfortable, and have plenty of life left. So, with that in mind, it is not 100% original, but obviously much better off.

In 2009 I had this guitar appraised by Gruhn. A copy of his appraisal is in the link below. It provides a great description of the guitar. I'm not a gigging musician, so the guitar hasn't left my house much. Nothing has changed since the appraisal with the exception of the Bigsby repair stated above.

Hello..

could you let me know if this guitar is still for sale.

I am very very new to guild's so could you please explain to me the difference between a CE-100 and a starfire III - as they seem to have very similar elements - this guitar has the pickups i am after as well. i thought i was after a sf3 (as that is the guitar i have played and fallen in love with). but i am confused now - how similar are they?

Could you describe the differences to me - thannkyou so so much

Bo,
You’re killing me man! I’ve already wiped out three keyboards due to water damage from drool!

This truly is one of my dream Guilds. At a fair price too! If it was the summer I could pull it off, but this time of year I can’t afford to buy dust. I hope it finds a good home.

You brought up a good point... maybe I should wait until after the holidays. I don't know. I'm probably going to list it for more elsewhere.
