I'm jonesing badly for the chambered bluesbird for sale now in this forum. To the point I'm considering something pretty stupid. Parting with this wonderful S-100 to get it:

This S-100 came to me in the summer w/o stock p/us and phase switch, but in excellent condition. Just recently did right by it, with two "pure handwound" pickups from David Plummer on the west coast. He calls them his Pagey2 set. Way, way ahead of the pearly gates and burstbucker (I think) which had been in it. Rich vintage tone, with real depth and warmth. Had the phase switch restored as well.
So the p/u still aren't stock, but tasty as hell. The guitar itself is solid, resonant and twangy. Notes ring out, even unplugged. A very nice player. Set up just right. High E had jumped the saddle a few times with .105 gauge strings. No longer doing that with .11s. Excellent frets, fretboard and binding. Low action. Comes in an SG TKL case. 825.
I'm in northern NJ. Local deals would be great. I can also drive a bit to meet you in the middle, if that would avoid shipping.
