Great sounding classic Ampeg GU12 guitar amp. 2 7591 power tubes for about 15 watts. The output transformer was replaced with a Mercury Magnetics Reverberocket replacement OT and the speaker was replaced with a Jensen Mod 12 / 35 watt model. The speaker has a repaired hole in the surround from when I was remounting it and poked the mounting screw through it. It was repaired with tissue paper and a dab of rubber cement. All other work was done before I bought the amp. The circuit looks original as do the (mostly) Ampeg-branded tubes.

There is a slice in the grille cloth about two to three inches long - see photo. There are specks of paint on the tolex that looks like somebody was painting a room this amp was in. There is a bit of rust around the fuse holder on the rear panel. The standby switch appears to have been replaced. The tolex on the front left next to the faceplate is bunched up from reinstalling the chassis after taking pictures.

Normal and bright inputs, volume, bass, treble, tremolo speed and intensity, and "echo" (reverb) dimension controls all work. The schematic which is glued to the top of the chassis panel in old and brittle, but legible.
