Hello all:

After opening my closet this weekend and looking at all the guitar cases in there, I think I need to make a pre-emptive strike before my wife takes stock of the situation.... gulp.....

With that, I thought I'd offer up one of my Custom Peregrines to LTG. This is a 1999 model crafted in the Nashville Custom Shop and is in excellent condition. My other Peregrine leans toward the red end of the color spectrum, but this one is what I believe is officially called "chestnut". It's a beautiful, warm mahogany color. There is still the hint of red, but it's a much more natural looking color than some of the other Peregrines I've seen, including my other one.

Chambered solidbody acoustic, so it's an incredible stage guitar. I have several stage guitars and have lately been playing my other Peregrine and a newly-acquired Crossroads exclusively. Also a Paloma Nylon from time to time. I bought this as a backup not too long ago, but I've never used it, mainly because I've never had a single issue with my other Peregrine. These guitars are workhorses, good for nearly every situation. But I can't see a reason to keep an extra one in the closet and never play it.

Mahogany body and neck. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Gold Grover tuners. Abalone purfling. Fishman electronics. Comes with custom-fitted faux-alligator case with green velvet lining. Custom shop tag on the case.

As far as condition, this guitar is amazing for being 10 years old. There is one small ding on the front, south of the bridge. You might be able to see it in one of the photos, although it's really insignificant. There are a few very small scratches that I can't get to show up in a photo. No fretwear. Doesn't appear that the former owner played it very much, if at all. There's a spot on the back where the neck joins the body where it appears a sticky label or tag was affixed. When I peeled it off, there was some discoloration. Not a big deal, but I wanted you to know. Why you would ever stick a label to a guitar is beyond me....

Photos below. The light was terrible, so the contrast in the photos is awful, but you get the idea. I'm happy to send additional pics if there's something specific you'd like to see.

Looking for $1695 shipped, insured, and paypal'd. If you can pay by Paypal e-check, I'll knock $50 off since it will save the fees. Also, if you're in the Dallas.Ft. Worth area and would like to pick it up, I'll knock another $75 off for the shipping and insurance.

(P.S. If anyone would be interested in a Gibson Chet Atkins Studio CEC Nylon, shoot me a note. That one is probably also going to be looking for a new home!)

Thanks.
-Rob

This is probably heading to ebay early next week, so if you're interested, let me know before then.

Thanks everyone!
