After a lot of pondering, I'm ready to offer my '87 D15 to a fellow LTG'er. I won't sell it any other place. I know that there has been interest expressed here for all-hog D15s so let me hear from you. I'll start with one pic and build from there. SOLD

Re: FS/1987 D15

My buddy helped me pick up and move my new wood burner today. We stopped at a local guitar store because he wanted to play a Martin DM-15. He then played my Guild D15M. He liked them both and he's wanting a HOG. So how much are you looking to get for yours? I'm not sure he'll want to endure the agony of a cross country shipping but ya just don't know.

Peace

Doc,

I'd be willing to part with it for $400 even, and that would include the cost of proper packaging, shipping, insurance....tax, title, license, kit, kaboodle, etc.

Dread,

It is, now. It came into my hands as an extremely high gloss. It was so glossy as to be a bit on the hideous side. Liberal amounts of elbow grease and 600 grit sandpaper (on the body only) rendered the finish....satin.

Wow, nice deal on a superb looking guitar. D15's are great (especially for 'hog lovers) and often overlooked. Somebody's gonna be real happy.

Re: FS/1987 D15 FT?

Project for today: Clean and fondle and put on new strings.
I'll have to play it for a while to bring out that nice 'hog' tone, but I know it's there.
Anyway, it's still for sale or maybe even for trade if you wish to go that route.

It's all good,
Joe

I'd like to keep this one close to the top of the hopper so I'll just say that it's still here and still ready to ship to a good LTG home.
I just put D'Addario lights on it and what an intersting difference from the mediums.
Intriguing is what it is!

Steffan,
Thanks for the unsolicited testimonial, but I was packing a D25 and a D50 at our mini-gathering. I have photographic proof and I remember you being....the photographer!

SOLD!

Got the PM, Doc, and before you know it, we were on the phone transacting, cross-country. Sweet!
Everything sounds good. I'll get the D15 all cleaned, packed, etc., and ready to ship your way.

Well yeah, I have one and I love it. I'm curious to compare another one though. My friend did like mine but he's slow on the draw and I didn't want this to get away really. Don't plan on selling it since ya can't have too much HOG.

Funny thing is; I didn't even ask Joe if he'd changed or upgraded (if that's possible :) ) anything. I AM excited too.

Peace
