:) Yes, it is great to see the Frostman back once again. Looks like he hasn't lost a thing. But I'll tell you, it's good to finally be able to put a face with all of that growling. I'd been trying to figure out exactly who that was for the last 6 months as I listened to the LTG CD for David.

Played "Blue Moon" for my dog. My dog said, that Frostys dog is saying "Fine pickin' bro". I would agree.

Thanks, guys! No Guild content there, so I appreciate y'all putting up with my wandering.

My pup is like a physical trainer. She won't let me sit around picking guitar for too long before it's time to get up and stretch our legs on a walk. Took a short hike through some conservation land today - there was enough of the brook clear of ice that she went in for a swim. >>brrrrr!!!<<

On the Guild front - I got word today that a friend out in the western part of the state brought a CT-made D-55 home last week. He is really particular about guitars, a meticulous professional repairman, so I imagine that the fit and finish must be top-notch. I'll give him a call tomorrow and, if it's true, try to get out there soon for an inspection.

Fantastic - like any great player inspirational and deflating at the same time! I've always loved Blue Moon.

Don't be deflated! I'm just "a guy" and if I can play it... so can you. Maybe not as fast or as smoothly at first, but that comes in time. I remember the first time I saw Leo Kottke play in a small club in Boston years ago. I came away proud of what one human being can accomplish with one simple thing like a guitar. How glorious to be a human! :D
