Fellow LTGers, I'm Jerre Haskew former president and co-owner of Guild 1986-1991. because of osteo-arthritis in my hands and shoulder I'm having to sell my remaining great Guilds and other special guitars. Here below is what I have. Please email if you have serious interest to jrichas@aol.com or call me at 423-821-5050. Extensive pictures, description and specs will be available by email request for serious potential buyers. Shipping is to lower 48 only by UPS Ground. I've sold 15 of my great Guilds in the past several years to members of LTG and want you guys to have first shot at them before I list or place them elsewhere.

1) 1986 Guild F-46 (one year later renamed GF-60)- near mint condition $3,800 including case. $100 shipping & insurance. Also known as the Eric Clapton model. Designed by George Gruhn & Kim Walker. Pro setup, LL bags active electronics installed by Joe Glazer in Nashville. I'm the original owner. This is the guitar I bought for retail off the production line that convinced us to buy the company from Avnet in 1986.

2) 1987 Guild D-60- near mint condition. $2,900 including case. $100 shipping and insurance. Also known as the Johnny Cash model. Pro setup no electronics. Original owner- a master luthier in Atlanta- enlarged the sound hole to Tony Rice 4 1/4 specs. Also scalloped back braces. Just an incredible sounding instrument. I acquired it 4 years ago. It has never been outside my climate controlled music room.

3) 1983-1984 Guild Custom D-80-12 12 string guitar- near mint condition. $6,500 including case. $100 shipping & insurance. This is a one of a kind Guild and is featured in the Guilds of Westerly website. Cherry sunburst top all kinds of unique trim. THE BEST looking, playing & sounding 12 string I have ever seen, heard or played. Acquired from the original owner's family through Stan Jay at Mandolin Bros in NY in 2002. Equipped with a top of the line L L Baggs Anthem electronics system installed by Maple Street Guitars in Atlanta.

4) 1980 Guild F-212XL 12 string guitar- near mint condition. $2,800 including case. $100 shipping & insurance. This is a great looking, sounding & playing 12 string and rare to find in such great condition. K & K passive electronics. Pro setup.

5) 2003 Kim Walker SJ- one of a kind hand crafted guitar by the great master luthier Kim Walker whom I hired to design models and help run the Guild factory in Westerly when we acquired the company in 1986- mint condition $22,000 including case. $100 shipping & insurance. No electronics. Kim builds 30 hand built Walker guitars a year and is 8 years back ordered. His new guitars now sell for $27,000+ and many authorities regard him as the finest guitar builder in the world. Another walker Small Jumbo (folk body) just one serial # from this one is listed now at Dream Guitars on the net for $32,000. Spectacular bear claw spruce top & incredible old growth Brazilian rosewood back & sides. Finest sounding acoustic guitar I have ever seen, heard or played. Pro setup. Professional sellers of these kinds of guitars take a 20% cut so hence the relatively low price. If this ones listed at Dream Guitars or Luthiers' Collection the price would be 25% more to cover selling costs. This great guitar has never been outside my climate controlled music room.

6) Other non Guild unique guitars available from $1000- $5,500.

Hope these all can go to LTGers who will love, cherish and play them for many years.

GUILD RULES!!

Oooo, that dirty A-word has brought destruction to my house, too. Otherwise I might have been interested in that D-80 12. I've been toying with the idea of selling a Guild or Taylor or two in order to finance a 12er with a shorter scale.

Anyway, sorry to hear about it, Jerre, hope you'll still stick around the forum.

Sorry to hear the dreaded Arthur has brought down your playing, Jerre.

Thanks for giving us a heads up on the collection. As Steve said, I hope those wonderful axes find a home here.
