Thanks for the point Steve. Nice work-around for the soon-to-be-extinct 7199 which will shortly go the way of the 7027, 8417, 7189A and a few others. TubeWorld lists these amps as dependent on the 7199:

- Bogen BD-212
- Dynaco ST-70, SCA-35
- Ampeg B25, B25B,
- Heathkit AA-111
- Stromberg Carlson

... but didn't mention these;
- tweed Gibson GA19RVT
- Ampeg Gemini series: G12, G15 II, G15R, and G22

According to The Tube Store, even Sovtek's re-issue 7199 is history ... and a noisy good riddance to it I might add leaving the +/- $50 JAN Phillips as the only NOS 7199 out there.

Thanks for posting, Steve. My Ampeg B-18X takes a 7199, and I'll have to snag one of these. Lots of Gemini fans will be happy!
